Investing in a new website to grow your business comes with questions. See answers to our most frequently asked questions here, or feel free to reach out and ask!
General website questions
For businesses that already have an existing website, your website package will typically entail a full rebuild and redesign. This means taking stock of your existing pages for messaging, purpose, and logical fit within the flow of your website.
A website redesign is the perfect opportunity to consolidate loose ends and reconsider the ideal site structure to support your business.
If you are on a not on WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow, we will help determine the correct platform solution for your next website.
Unfortunately, many of the DIY website tools out there, including Wix, Squarespace, and Weebly, make it difficult to produce a professional website that also performs from Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or business administration perspectives.
With more than a decade of experience in the digital marketing and website design space, our approach to web design is different than a typical website agency.
Where other agencies will ask for your copy (the text on your website) so they can copy–and–paste it onto the appropriate pages, our process involves some interview time with you so we get to better understand your Ideal Client Profiles (ICP). Once we have that established, we write custom copy—headlines and body copy—to support every section of every page of your site.
Why?
Because this is the best way to make an effective website.
Without clear, cohesive messaging, even the most beautifully designed website will fail to capture the attention of your ideal audience and convert them into leads or clients.
For most businesses in 2024, customers have endless options for comparison online. However they find you—whether it's social media, word–of–mouth, or even outbound sales—they are bound to check out your business online.
A big piece of how your potential customers view your business comes from your website. Is it polished? Does the messaging speak to them? Does it look like your business is trustworthy?
By removing questions and providing easy answers (through great design and messaging on your website), you maximize your clients' experience and improve business potential.
Pricing and timelines
Just like every business is different, so too is every website project. However, after years of experience building custom websites for businesses, we have been able to distill the basics into set packages, which you can see and compare here.
We're committed to serving all of our clients with a high level of attention to detail and project focus. This allows us to build simple sites for small businesses in as little as 10 days, whereas a more robust website with more pages or custom content (or video production) may take a number of months.
Every website project comes with a custom Production Brief document that outlines stages, deadlines, and scope of work every step of the way. These Production Briefs eliminate confusion and serve as a guide to the whole project, so you know exactly what to expect.
There are two typical potential costs for any website project: hosting and software.
Hosting
While you're welcome to host your website through Clickex with our (very reasonable) managed hosting service, you're also welcome to host your own website directly and manage your ongoing costs directly with your chosen provider.
Software
In the case of WordPress sites, we cover the cost of standard design plugins for one year (after which time they'll still work, but you will need to acquire a license if you want ongoing plugin updates). Paid platforms (such as Webflow or Shopify) have ongoing monthly subscription fees for the use of their software, while WordPress is considered open source, or free, as it is out of the box.
